Friends!

Today, while cleaning out an old bin of papers, I found my first set of notes for To Starve a God.

The book has come a long way, even if the first 7 years were me just thinking about the book on and off. Thank goodness I started writing two years ago.

To Starve a God started as a question, posed to me on a Skype call by one of my internet friends (shout-out to Gabriel). He asked me, “What do you think a God would taste like?”

At the time, I think I told him a god would surely taste like the feeling of love. But the question stuck in my teeth, and by the end of the week, I assumed they’d taste like blood. And thus, TSAG was born.

And now I am here (not currently working on it).
